Recharge settings
Off by default: choose Roll or Skip when a creature starts a turn with a spent ability. A 1d6 roll recharges it when the result meets its listed threshold (for example, 5–6). This setting is remembered for future encounters in this browser.

Apply typed damage
Roll once for all selected targets. Immunity, resistance, vulnerability and temporary HP apply per statblock. When a defense depends on context, review it before any damage is saved.
Review conditional defenses
For each target, decide whether the listed defense applies. All targets wait until the review is complete.
Heal or adjust HP
Bare numbers damage; + heals, - damages, = sets. Dice roll once for the batch. Unset HP targets are skipped.

Assess viewed creature's CR · 2014 advisory
The automatic baseline uses explicit repeatable attacks, unambiguous multiattacks, or single-target save damage. Adjust HP/AC for defenses and enter any excluded reactions, auras, recharge, legendary/lair effects or conditional damage at the frequency you expect. Text-only notes add nothing. Resolve transformation manual-review items first. This is a 2014 DMG estimate, not a 2024 rating.
An estimate never changes the creature's saved CR, award XP, or adjusted encounter difficulty. To adopt it, choose Edit viewed statblock and explicitly edit CR (and any custom XP override) there.
Advanced selected-target actions · statblock edits, notes & effects
Bulk statblock edits
Preview mechanical changes for selected instances. Ineligible monsters are named and skipped; eligible changes save together.
Non-mechanical notes & roll effects
Area & lair reminders (text only)
These notes do not change the statblock. Use Bulk statblock edits above or Edit statblock on an individual monster for mechanical traits and lair actions.
Roll effects
Custom roll effect
Use a whole number such as +2, 0, or -3. Bonuses from different sources add together.
Choose only eligible monsters. Context-dependent presets ask before each roll; attack effects apply to recognized statblock d20 attack links, not damage or recharge. Remove a roll effect from one monster below. Area and lair notes above remain reminders only.
DM Screen handoff · one-time snapshot
Send to DM Screen
Queue a one-time snapshot of selected monsters in this browser. In DM Screen, confirm Import on the Initiative Tracker panel you want. Later HP, conditions, and turns will not sync.
Area notes and roll effects stay in this workspace; they cannot be shown in the Initiative Tracker.
